The efforts to breathe life into the Fourteenth Amendment and the struggle to develop democratic values and civil rights for all people involves many heroic sacrifices and contributions. Those contributions and sacrifices are the pedestal for the democratic freedoms we all enjoy. Fighters for Justice attempts to profile a handful of these heroes as our march toward justice continues. Hopefully, their contributions will inspire all of us to live better and more meaningful lives.
